  • Time for the annual Turkey Run at Daytona International Speedway, unabashedly the largest collection of classic cars in one spot in Florida once a year. It’s impossible to take it all in, so we do our best to show up and sample. Crazy crowds today, but kept meeting up with friends so it was a lot of fun.

  • When in Texas, look for Texas books! One of the joys of our travels is stumbling across small independent bookstores. In Kerrville, Wolfmuellers had both rare and used titles. We carted a whole case of books home with us from this store! And while we were there, Kinky Friedman walked in. Didn’t realize it until he left or we would have snagged a photo.
