Ghosts of Gettysburg

Gettysburg is an uneasy place. So much bloodshed. So much pain. And yet there is beauty on the battlefield, the forests and hills, the monuments placed skillfully so as to invite reflection.

The Mangrove

At the very end of the Main Park Road in Everglades National Park, I captured this lone mangrove just offshore from the wrack line along Florida Bay.

End of a Patagonian Adventure
